Micky was a dedicated mother, brilliant artist, and accomplished interior designer. She loved sharing the beauty of life with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 25 in total. She always looked for teachable moments, especially on walks and car rides.

 

As a world traveler Micky loved adventure. Her passion was art and especially enjoyed oil painting. She was actively involved in various charities and could be found cooking, playing bridge, reading books, or watching Jeopardy.

After years of looking for the perfect illustrator, the book was finally published a year after she passed away from Covid-19 in 2021. She is greatly missed!

Nichole creates illustrations in an inspiring studio tucked away among the ferns and frogs in the Pacific Northwest. She loves to illustrate stories that celebrate nature and inspire others to live in harmony with the web of life. Along with illustrating for clients, she teaches art around the world.

At home, Nichole can be found having fun with her family, gardening, or taking care of her pets: everything from goats, bunnies, and chickens to lizards, turtles, and snakes. All of which are a great inspiration for her work.
